In Chicago, There Is More To Do Than You’ll Have Time

This list is the personal favourites of a Chicago, Illinois fence contractor who shares them with us today. With so much to do in Chicago, Illinois, it was hard for him to choose his top picks. But here they are. What do you think?

Chicago’s Field Museum is one of the world’s top museums of natural history, science, environment, and even culture. It’s collection includes over 20 million objects – an impressive array of dinosaur bones, ancient mummies (not just human mummies), ” Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age”, a section about natural disasters and a whole evolutionary walk-through exhibit. The Field Museum is most famous for “Sue” the most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton ever found (not a plastic replica; this one is 100% for real!) Take in the Dinosaurs Alive! 3-D show at the Ernst & Young 3-D Theater, and if you really want to get close to the ancient creatures, try the “Dozin’ With Dinos” sleepover. The Field Museum is the anchor of Museum Campus, and most likely the inspiration for the “Night at the Museum” movies.

Millennium Park is a project of urban revival, a tribute to ambitious plans of the artistic center Chicago could become in the 21st Century. It was conceived as a center for architecture, music, landscape design and other arts. It’s landmark is a giant metal globule shining like a warped sculptured mirror. Crafted in 1998 from the ultimate eyesore, an empty lot filled with idle railway tracks, asphalt and weeds, the City of Chicago and urban activists joined forces to revive the lands into the urban outdoor showcase it has been since 2004. Some of the park’s more renowned features are:

- the Frank Gehry-designed Jay Pritzker Pavilion , considered to be the most sophisticated outdoor concert venue of its kind in the USA
- Lurie Garden designed by the trio of Kathryn Gustafson, Piet Oudolf and Robert Israel
- the Cloud Gate sculpture by Anish Kapoor (that’s the giant metal globule).

How many cities can boast impressive dolphin show at two different locations? Visitors to the Brookfield Zoo in the western suburbs have the opportunity to view “The Seven Seas Dolphin Show”, a popular attraction where dolphins show off a series of tricks and jumps that always thrill the audience. Meanwhile over at Shedd Aquarium in the Museum Campus, you can take in “Fantasea”, an amazing show with dolphins, belugas, and penguins. The Oceanarium’s amphitheater is home the coolest show ever that adults and kids will love. And the dolphin show is particularly geared to education about this most intelligent species.

As we said earlier, there really are so many things to do in Chicago, Illinois, that it is hard to choose just those few. We did not even mention…

- Soldier Field
- Buckingham Fountain
- Chicago Blues Festival
- Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio
- Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
- The Hancock Observatory
- hundreds of delicious restaurants

If you want to do more than just visit, you might want to find a nice little home and get a nice little fence, such as a Chicago Illinois dog fence or a Chicago pool and deck fence, as well as a little flower garden. Why move to Chicago, you ask? So that you can keep visiting these awesome Chicago landmarks and attractions every day!

The Office Needs To Actually Be Interesting

Many people feel that what they have in the office makes no difference at all to the way that customers actually react but this is untrue and you have to be very careful in the way that the office is run.

Location Is
Key?

Location actually makes a big difference in the way that you should be running the office and it would seem that if you have a Serviced Office London you are really supposed to have a very tightly run office because the office is in the capital and people really do expect high quality offices.

Fun

On the other hand it is really not fair to say no to a bit of messing about when it comes to breaks and lunch hours and this is because a relaxing lunch hour will provide you with higher productivity in the afternoon from your employees which is always good. To make sure that staff have a bit of fun I would get in a pool table or something like this. It is great for customers too because to calm them down and bring in a bit of business you could have a game of pool.

Decorate

There are not many people out there that actually like boring offices so why not actually do something about it!! Let employees make their own desk space theirs. Allow them to put up a couple of posters (within reason), allow them to change their computer backgrounds and have things on the desk that are unique to them! If your office is interesting and a customer walks in they will see that you allow each employee to express themselves and really think that it could be a great company to invest in.

So it doesn’t matter if you have Serviced Offices London or Serviced Offices Victoria make sure you make your offices stand out above the rest!
