An Inspiron laptop has a 15.4 inch screen, ability to store 320BG and is fitted with a Core 2 Duo Processor. A student on a budget will appreciate the price tag of $1100.

Sony VAIO Z590UAB: If you don’t care about the expensive price, the Sony VAIO stands out from other laptops with its amazing standard. This lightweight model is only 3.5 pounds still has a 13.1 inc screen and a 12 GB Solid State Drive. Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate is the standard operating system. The cost usually starts at around $3200.

Toshiba Qosmio F50: This all purpose laptop has outstanding performance and state-of-the-art multimedia capabilities. Specs include a 512 MB NVDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics adapter with a 15.4 inch screen, 500 GB storage space, 4GB RAM, and a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. The cost starts at $2100.

HP Pavilion dv5tse: This is a great laptop if you want to combine work with play. The Pavilion offers a maximum entertainment system with surround sound speakers by Dolby, and excellent capabilities for doing your school work. It contains a scratch resistant 15.4 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800, and Intel Dynamic Acceleration Technology.

The range of hard drive storage starts at 160GB to 400GB and the weight of the laptop is approximately 5.83 pounds. The cost for the HP Pavilion starts at approximately $900.
