In the tale, there are two witches, Elphaba, who will start to become the wicked witch and Glinda, the supposedly likable witch. They do share one thing in common though – they both like the same guy.
The setting of the story happened before Dorothy arrived in Oz with the help of her ruby slippers. With that said, the viewers could expect notable references, dialogues, and scenes in the equally popular “The Wizard of Oz” movie of 1939.
You need not see the epic of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz to admirer this story are very much invited to see who the wicked witch of Oz really is.
